What to expect for a Newborn Session
Newborn photographer sessions are typically photographed during the first 5-14 days after birth. I have also had lots of success with older newborns so please contact me and we can discuss your options. Newborn sessions are mainly done in the studio. This helps ensure we have everything we need to create the gorgeous images you have been dreaming of. If, however, are unable to come to the studio please do not hesitate to get in touch and we can discuss your options. I also offer outdoor newborn session during the summer months. The ideal temperature for an outdoor session is 80 degrees.
We will work together to tailor the session to your family’s style. We will discuss ideas for your baby pictures including, colors, poses, etc. so that your session is unique and represents your tastes. I have everything we will need for your session. This includes outfits, accessories, wraps, and props. I also have lots of experience including personal items and family heirlooms.
Sessions are typically 2-4 hours long. This allows for plenty of time to feed, soothe, and clean up any accidents. Each session includes a variety of traditional poses, props poses and family poses (including parent, sibling, family and pets), if desired. Milestone Add-Ons
Maternity, 3, 6, and 9 months milestone sessions can be added to your newborn session at a discounted rate. I also offer Newborn photographer Mini Sessions for those who only need a few quick shots. It is best to book your session 2-3 months in advance, but I can at times accommodate last minute sessions. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.
