Final Thoughts
Mastering newborn photography poses requires patience, practice and skill. It also doesn’t hurt to have the ability to be unbothered when naked newborns have accidents on you and all your props. Always find a newborn photographer who prioritizes safety. Your photographer should focus on ensuring their comfort, and keeping the environment warm and soothing at all times. Your newborns head should always be supported, and they should never be left in a prop or on a table without a spotter.
Unfortunately, I can never guarantee any pose during your session because each baby is different. Not all babies are comfortable in all positions. However, you now know all of the newborn photography poses and their names. So, never hesitate to request a specific pose or set up. If I know it is a favorite of your I will do everything within my power to make it happen.
