Cake Smash Mini Sessions in NH
Want the fun of a cake smash without committing to a full custom session? My Cake Smash Mini Sessions are a shorter, simpler option for families who really just want the cake, the mess, and those classic first birthday photos. These sessions focus entirely on the cake smash portion, so we skip the traditional one-year portraits and get right to the good stuff.
Because these are mini sessions, they are only available with select cake smash themes or backdrops I already have in the studio. Unlike a full cake smash session, a completely new custom setup isn’t designed specifically for your session. If I already have a backdrop you love—or I’m offering a limited theme that happens to be perfect for your little one—you can get the cake smash experience in a quicker, more budget-friendly format.
Cake Smash Only Minis are offered on a limited basis throughout the year, so availability depends on the themes and setups currently available in my Nashua, NH studio.
Paint Splash Mini is a great alternative to cake for your 2 Year old
Cake smash minis are basically controlled chaos. And by controlled, I mean… we try. One minute your baby is politely poking the frosting. The next? Full hands. Face first. Frosting in places you didn’t know existed. It’s messy. It’s unpredictable. And it’s honestly the best part. No pressure. No perfect poses. Just real, hilarious, sugar-fueled moments you’ll want to remember forever.
And just when we thought it couldn’t get more fun… enter the paint splash mini. Same energy. Less sugar. Way more color. Kids go from “what is this?” to full-on Picasso in about 10 seconds. Paint on the hands. Paint on the feet. Sometimes paint on me. It’s loud. It’s wild. And somehow still adorable. If your kid loves to make a mess, this one might be their masterpiece moment.

Hit the Slopes – NH Cake Smash Mini Session
One of my favorite little guys turned 1 recently. I was only able to convince his mom to do a mini session. And I was only able to convince her to let me share a few of these images. These are those images.

Wild ONE
This little guy was the first one to book off of my bucket list for cake smash mini. Mom decided on this “Where the wild things Are” theme which I have been wanted to do for a long time. I photographed this guy during the fall and was so excited to have him back. Now, he is a wild one at home but in the studio, he wasn’t quite ready to roar any terrible roars. He actually seemed somewhat insulted that we were asking him to eat with his hands. He refused to dig in until we supplied him with the proper utensils. Thankfully, once he got some silverware, he became the king of all cake eating. A very Happy Birthday to this man.
